2005-02-16 [Chakan]: Now don't get me wrong,I am by no means a Fan of Rap,But "Rockers" do the same shit just in a diffferent way.I mean,they wear oversized clothes too(What's with the 2 foot wide pants and tight ass skin shirts that might as well be spandex if it isn't already),nor do they all talk right(Sorry to tell you,but no one speaks PERFECT English).Instead of Jewelery,Rockers get percings in any slab of fat they can find on there bodies and then cover their skin in tatoos and shit.And to tell you the truth,all they sing about is Hate or partying...I mean,I could do that too,Just give me a tatoo-covered would be goth and a Pierced guitar player and a Mic and I'll give you a chartopper in the rock world.

2005-03-02 [wayne]: Ok, let's pretend for a second that we're not ignorant..... And let's realize that the rap that all of you are referring too is driven by consumerism. Basically, when you sign a contract with a major record label, they force you to rap about what sells, and in the eyes of the consumer it's mysogyny, violence, and drugs with an occasional song in there to attempt to talk about life with mediocre lyricism. I don't like commercial rap, except Nas, and a few others but i love hip hop music (rap), there's so much different type of rap than what you hear on the radio or mtv. It's one of the most diverse music genres.
